Wellbeing Waterloo Region: Wellbeing Waterloo Region is a community-led initiative working together across sectors to improve wellbeing.

Monica Place: Located in Waterloo Region, Monica Place is an accredited, registered non-profit child and youth mental health agency focused on the needs of pregnant and parenting youth and their children.

Canadian Pediatric Society: The Canadian Pediatric Society is the national association of pediatricians, committed to working together to advance the health of children and youth by nurturing excellence in health care, advocacy, education, research, and support of its membership.

Pregnancy and Baby’s First Year: Pregnancy and the first year of your baby’s life is an exciting time with many changes. Whether you’re planning a pregnancy, are pregnant or your baby is already here, you will find information to help give your baby the best start.

Looksee Checklist by NDDS: The Looksee Checklist is a simple, easy-to-use developmental tool designed to help monitor a child’s development from 1 month to 6 years of age, featuring a shortlist of “yes” or “no” questions about the child’s abilities.

Breastfeeding Buddies: The Breastfeeding Buddies are here to help you meet #yourbreastfeedinggoals. Our community-based peer support program aims to bridge the gap between hospital, community, and home.

Childcare Resources

Child Care OneList Waterloo Region: OneList Waterloo Region is designed to help you learn about the childcare services available in our community and to help you apply for a childcare space.

NutriSTEP®: for toddlers (18-35 months) and preschoolers (3-5 years) valid and reliable nutrition risk screening questionnaires are available on this site that have been developed and used across Canada as a fast and simple way to find out if children are healthy eaters.

Special Needs Resourcing Collaborative (SNR): The Special Needs Resourcing Collaborative provides support to Licensed Child Care Programs across Waterloo Region for children up to 12 years of age.

KWhabilitation: KW Habilitation is a local not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of individualized services and supports to children with any special need and adults with developmental disabilities.
