Multi-Sports Program

multiple sports equipment on grass like tennis rackets, soccer ball, football, baseball gloves, bike helmet.

Anishnabeg Outreach is offering a youth-based multi-sports program for Indigenous youth in the area. This program is targeted for ages 6-16 and will offer a wide variety of sports options. There will be instructional skill-based videos posted throughout the weeks on our website. In addition, we will also be creating an equipment lending library that will provide everyone with access to the necessary equipment needed to participate. You will see sports such as basketball, hockey, soccer, ultimate frisbee, biking, martial arts, yoga, and much more. Our hope in this program is to create opportunities within the community, enhance physical and mental health, and offer a positive outlet during these unprecedented times. We plan to shift this program to in-person, which will be available through after-school, weekend drop-ins, and summer programming. It is our goal to offer a space of community and encouragement while staying active together and building our community’s sport and athletic potential. Come play with us!

Please reach out to us at info@aocan.org if you have any questions, comments, or recommendations. We encourage you to follow us on our social media platforms to stay up to date with the videos, opportunities, and events.
